The Oncology CAR-T (Chimeric antigen receptor t-cell (CAR-T) therapy Account Manager will develop, coordinate and implement a strategic business plan for CAR-T therapy Centers including KOLs within the centers. Educate hospital administration on the value proposition of CAR-T therapy to gain formulary access at hospital/site. Onboard and certify key staff within the account including HCPs, apheresis and cell labs, transplant coordinators, pharmacy and reimbursement leads. Manage the day-to-day process within a site to ensure CAR-T therapy is delivered efficiently to patients once they are identified.
Responsible for developing overall strategy which may include account planning and tactical implementation for assigned CAR-T sites to create access, partnership opportunities to advance the business and pull through marketing initiatives
Coordinate appropriate education of all key stakeholders in hospital and communicate the value of CAR-T therapy to the treatment team
Build key business relationships within CART sites at C Suite level personnel and with key influencers/decision-makers to ensure CTL access for patients
Presents approved economics data and other payer materials to the hospital CFO and relevant stakeholders
Meets with the hospital P&T committee to discuss CAR-T therapy financials and contract negotiations (if necessary)
Discusses relevant administrative topics (e.g. formulary inclusion, incorporation into hospital guidelines) with hospital P&T committee
Lead portions of initial site training including product PI, logistics, communication plan and product ordering
Work with hospital staff to ensure the CAR-T therapy process is as effective and efficient as possible
Provide cell status (e.g. viability, location) as requested
Facilitates educational events with physicians
This territory will cover Key Accounts in the Greater Washington, D.C. area, 60-80% travel required for this role.
Ability to travel over a broad geography is required.
This position requires the ability to drive within their assigned territory by automobile (and in some territories to travel by airplane).

Education:
Bachelor s Degree Required
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical experience and 3 years of total experience in one or a combination of the following areas: Key Account Management, Reimbursement, Medical Device or sales management required.
Demonstrated record of success in Oncology, Hematology, or Transplantation within an Academic Institutional setting strongly preferred
Proven ability to establish and cultivate key customer relationships
Strong Strategic and Business Acumen skills
Strong negotiating skills
In depth knowledge of healthcare industry, environment and IDNs/ACOs/Government Accts preferred
