Working together with the Director of BPA, Patient Solutions & Access focus on improving the Gross to Net forecast process by partnering with multiple cross functional teams across the US OBU and broader Novartis Pharmaceutical Corporation.
Support all Financial Planning and Reporting processes including strategic plans, Budgets, Latest Estimates, and Month/Quarter latest Outlook for US OBU focusing on Gross to Net
Support the revenue deduction planning, consolidation, forecasting, analysis and adjustments for US oncology with complete understanding of all gross to net components
Ensure Government programs changes to GTN implications are properly analyzed and communicated to Business Franchises, and FSC Accounting Team.
Support the establishment of ongoing KPIs to enable monthly monitoring of revenue deduction performance and forecasting accuracy.
Develop and communicate monthly Revenue Deduction Risk and Opportunities as part of monthly forecasting process Test & challenge assumptions underlying sales forecasts as they relate to gross to net forecasting, and ensure transparency of those assumptions across US OBU
Establish robust relationships with PS&A, Managed Markets Finance, Franchise Finance and FRA to ensure clear communication of Gross to Net forecasting and tracking of actuals

Support Strategic pricing analytics and help secure the implementation of new product launch pricing proposals and timing with business franchises, managed markets, trade management and other corporate divisions. Gain approvals with senior leadership for consolidation and notification to trade management for implementation.
Partner with Managed Markets Finance to oversee the Health Care Reform Fee modeling, budgeting and adjustments coordination throughout the fiscal year. Coordinate and challenge assumptions used in other divisions and align on methodology with FRA
Provide support to Director of BPA for PS&A to forecast and track functional spend for PS&A
Identify opportunities for process improvement, and participate in/lead IQP/Lean projects

Bachelor degree is required. Discipline in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related is preferred.
5+ years of broad and related financial experience, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry or a healthcare company.
Excellent financial analysis skills, advanced modeling and system skills are necessary to identify, present, and challenge key business assumptions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required in order to effectively interact and influence all levels of management
Advanced computer skills with a high-level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data warehousing systems such as BPC, COGNOS (or similar), and SAP
Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and disparate teams across function to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with proven influencing skills
Experience collaborating in a cross-functional team environment
