In this position, the candidate will set the strategic direction for insights-driven and disease-focused analytics and forecasting. Areas of responsibility include implementation and management of global business analytics and forecasting for to support the launch of BYL, Kymriah DLBCL & SEG101 in global Oncology.
Cultivate strong knowledge of Oncology disease areas with in-depth understanding of market dynamics and forward looking insights.
Expertise in forecasting and associated epidemiology
Champion new approaches & techniques to forecasting
Drive partnership with internal business partners to define and answer key strategic questions.
Work collaboratively with brand teams and business analytics partners to ensure market insights are integrated into forecasts and strategic analysis
Monitor and evaluate major trends in the marketplace.
Identify knowledge gaps in understanding of market and develop analytics to fill these gaps
Present scenario and strategic planning results/recommendations to a global audience including senior management
Provide support for strategic planning and KPIs
Consult with Global marketing on market research and analytics that align with strategic imperatives

Minimum of 5 years of business analysis experience preferably in a Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry
Undergraduate Degree in Science or Business; MBA preferred
Oncology experience preferred
Country-level analytics and forecasting experience required
Knowledge of Global healthcare markets
Expert knowledge in Oncology forecasting and epidemiology
Strong analytics and patient-based forecasting skills
Strategic thinking with strong ability to evaluate and assess oncology market opportunities and dynamics
Demonstrated ability and experience in applying secondary data to market assessments
Strong ability to synthesis disparate data in order to develop a comprehensive view of current and future Oncology market situations and opportunities
Ability to make decisions and draw conclusions based on ambiguous and partial market information
Ability to apply primary and secondary market research findings and market data to enhance understanding of the commercial and customer view of the market
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Ability to work well cross-functionally and cross regionally and transnationally..
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
Effective team building/consulting skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Understanding of Oncology pharmaceutical markets and knowledge of industry data sources
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction
