Support the development and implementation of the ESO Americas QA strategy based upon the ESO global quality objectives including the quality plan.
Establish clear processes for defining, tracking and managing of KPIs for quality projects in ESO Americas (including the quality plan) for Novartis quality across all the countries and divisions.
Provide project management expertise and support, including organization and facilitation of meetings, follow-up on actions, collection of KPIs and development of regular reporting, for all major quality initiatives and projects in the Americas.
Own delivery of implementation of key global Novartis quality projects in the Americas.
Own project management and delivery of QA actions for key footprint projects including product divestments and site transfers.
Coordinate the preparation of the Americas governance processes, including but not limited to, Quality Committee, High Risk Committee, Townhalls, and other management meetings.
Manage or support regular reporting to various stakeholders including ESO Global Teams, BD&L, Strategy, etc.
Complete other activities as deemed necessary by Head QA ESO Americas to support regional priorities.
Timely collection, analysis and submission of management reporting
Completion of actions in support of the quality strategy
Establishment and adherence to project management methodology and standards
Delivery of initiatives on time, on quality and on budget
Performance against set KPIs

Technical/Business Degree Desirable education:
Advanced Technical/Business Degree with MBA
Preferable Minimum Languages:English: fluent spoken & written. Other Desired Languages (not required): French, Portuguese, or Spanish
Technical and/or business school education with a background and experience in project management
Broad understanding and background in quality processes, and regulatory/compliance desirable
Five plus years experience in the pharmaceutical industry or with a major strategic consulting company
Strong strategic business awareness and perspective, yet able and willing to work hands-on
Project & change management experience
Ability to work across many functions, geographies and cultures in a matrix organization Informal leadership ability to achieve results without having formal reporting lines
Energetic, can-do attitude.
